I have been in love with photography ever since I was old enough to press a shutter button and see the results. For me, photography is both meditative and my best form of expression. Landscape is my subject of choice, but as a young father I am quickly learning the world of portrait and documentary work. I am passionate about inspiring other photographers to go out and shoot often, wherever they are, and with whatever equipment they have.

I started snappiness to be a space for photographers like me who don’t buy into the culture of being discontent with wonderful and wonderfully outdated cameras. We focus on the joy of photography and excitement of finding the right shot, more than trying to keep up with the latest and greatest.

I operate a YouTube channel to document my escapades in affordable photography. This website joins alongside the channel as a community for the wonderful people I have met in the process. So, join me, and bring along whatever rusty ‘ol thing you got.
