Street Photographer John Free R.I.P.
I had not realized he passed away in March.
I first learned of John Free on Ted Forbes Art of photography channel
Aside from being a great photographer he was a fabulous motivator and teacher. Listening to him speak he sounds like an artist and a poet. I regret never having attended one of his classes.

I have never heard of John Free until your post. I watched the video you linked "Photographing Tramps in LA Freight Yards".... fascinating. Thanks for posting this.
I binge watched all the videos. really inspiring. Especially about discipline and working to get close to people.
LOL, it made me feel even worse about having sold my F3 to a co-worker about 10 years ago. I actually went up to him and asked if I could buy it back and he sold it back to me. It needed CLA so it's in the shop now.
I actually bought a couple rolls of film.
