I love the atmosphere in these photos. Each one gives off a really cool vibe. Excellent. What gear were you using?

Many thanks, against conventional wisdom I shoot gigs with Micro Four Thirds, using the following:

  • Olympus E-M1 Mk2
  • Lumix GX-7
  • Lumix 20mm f1.7
  • Olympus 45mm f1.8

I cover it in more detail in this video: https://youtu.be/RnZHby72oA8

Awesome, I'll check it out!

I went to a new trail Sunday and happened to be at the right place at the right time. It's a great feeling when that happens. Had I hiked the loop in the other direction I would have missed this shot. K3iii and 15mm ltd. That lens is easy and fun to make starbursts with.

First time getting out for street photography in over 2 months due to busy time plus broken elbow. Used a nw setup too the Sony A7 II w/ 50mm F1.8

Definitely suffering from a bit of rustiness, setup was fine I just need a few more outings to get my groove back

As much as I like shooting with the A380, it's got issues.

Glad you're able to get back into it. These shots are great!

Had a nice hike with the Pentax 100mm macro I just picked up.

Back to film.

I honestly think life is better for me when I keep my expectations low, especially for film.

I was at a "Garage sale" at a local camera store, and saw a hard pelican case being sold for 20$. I snagged it, not really caring what was inside, but when I opened it, I found a Sea&Sea MX-10. I had no idea if the camera worked, and, knowing how finicky point-and-shoots can be, I put a test roll of my usual (sigh) expired Arista EDU 400 in it.

Shortly after that, I put in a roll of Fujicolor 400, the first color film I've shot in a very long time.

I was pleasantly surprised! The lens isn't the best by any means, but it still takes good images. The case even included a wide-angle adapter that pushed the 32mm lens to 21mm, hence the bendy light pole. The camera has a meter, but it's uncoupled. It has a shutter speed. That's it. One single shutter speed of 1/100. Oh and the optics were designed to shoot underwater. Not bad, eh?

Ever striving for minimum competency

I've now cleaned the A380 sensor twice with swabs and it's still dirty. Does anyone have any advice what to do from here?

Can you take a picture of what you're seeing on the sensor? You can make a new thread about it and we can brainstorm there. I'm sure someone here would have an idea even if I don't.
