You live in the midwest which is worse. Fall / Autumn is maybe a two week period of nice colors. Then the first day of real wind starts what I call "pre-winter". The leaves are off the trees and shades of gray and brown are all that is left.
If Vivaldi lived in the midwest today would it actually be the 4 seasons?? 🙂
Our whole family was hit with illness, but I did catch a few pictures earlier before we were all stuck in bed. The weather has bounced back slightly, and I am trying to enjoy what little remains of fall before winter 🙂

Hahaha. Canada is even worse for the fall season. The leaves and colour were gone a month ago despite it being unusually warm. Seeing these lovely colours in mid-November causes envy 😉

It's not downright ugly here....yet, and in fairness in mid summer it's hot, humid and most of our forests are engulfed in a jungle of invasive plants. I like mid august and September best.

I def wanna see alot of shots from that RD1, Ive been lusting over that camera since i got my 7D lol.
Heres some shots over the last couple weeks, mainly trying to capture the last bit of fall around here....and on the last photo im working on some different filmish presets. Just something new and maybe more realistic to use.

Was trying to get that Ilford HP5 look out of this, it was way underexposed and already at ISO 1600 not to mention i was using the Sony Kit lens that came with my a390....this lens actually prompted me to pick up the Konica minolta 18-70mm kit lens for $30, should be here any day now
