Thanks very much! I really struggled with finding a composition that day. Shooting in a woodland is very tough as it turns out. But I was really pleased with this as well

Another one I found going back over my K-1 shots:

I think the composition is nice but keep going back and forth on whether or not the highlights look too 'recovered' or not. What do you guys think?

I think it looks good. If the shadows were brought up more, I think it could look too recovered, but because the overall scene is dimmer it looks more similar to what your eyes would naturally do in person. Great captures!

Happy snappin' 🙂

Thank you! I appreciate it. I've been loving shooting with the K-1. It's so liberating and nimble feeling compared to my Sigmas

Here is the first pass from a roll of film I'd been taking some of the test shots from. Film stock was "Reflx Lab 400", which I read about online somewhere. But I'm in love with the color of this film so I ordered a bunch more:

A couple from yesterday during a day trip to Yellowstone. The weather was iffy with snow and rain showers and occasional sun. These are not the most critically sharp images because I used a 1.5x TC on my D FA 150-450mm f/4-5.6 on the K-3 III and my shutter speed was lower than I liked.

Not at all. I think it's a great photo as you have it. Nice one.

Thanks very much, I think you and james are both correct. It's just sometimes hard to tell when I've been staring at it by myself lol
