lovely images by everyone as always❤️.

I went on another one of those trips with my friends and I swear that this place never fails to inspire me to look around and shoot.

All of these were shot with the fuji xpro-1 paired with the Canon FD 80-200mm f4 L

Here is some more stuff from the d200. The more I shoot it, the more I enjoy it.

Great pictures and so glad you are enjoying it! It seems like such a great camera!

I really like what it does to the colors, it makes the sky look more like it does to the eye, except it has a bad habit of turning reds to orange. Let me know what you think!

As the hobbyist joiners used to say: If you can't hide it, make it a feature. So I like that somehow irritating orange colour instead of the red (could be interesting with fire trucks), because it isn't that obvious, but it adds some kind of colour interest.

Our Katie has got some spots of somehow orange fur, too.

Amazing shots and what an experience! Someday I hope to see them myself. 🙂

This march has been an interesting, albeit frustrating, mix of weather as winter and spring duke it out.

K3iii & 35mm macro. This is a camera JPEG with Pentax's lens-specific Fuyuno image profile. I hope they release those for all lenses soon.

Some more Pentax K1 work, 1st shot is the FA 31 Limited shot wide open @ F1.8

Then I recently acquired this Tomioka Tominon 5cm F2, aka the poor man's Leica Summicron for dirt cheap of Pentax Forums.  It's such a sharp lens with beautiful bokeh, these are shot wide open.

Okay March!

This is the first month of Real action, and so this past weekend I was again in Valencia.

In this case for the Ferrari Challenge series. Those are a series of races where amateurs race one cup with the same car, and another one with Pros also racing the same car. And where clients (Ferrari owners) do laps also on the meantime.

The best part of being Media on those events is, being an italian event, yes you are right: The FOOD.

It's almost none or very very rare occasions where (at least here in Europe) events bring food for photographers (maybe F1, Formula E and MotoGP does), and none of them has the excellent quality and service the Ferrari Challenge has.

Here you have cookers cooking pizzas at the moment, one person cutting and serving them non stop. Same with pasta. There is also cheese, ham, etc..... and ice cream. And coffe. Yes! It's a dream. Plus practice to races you have 1 to 2hs of spare time, perfect timing to have a long nice lunch european style, relaxed.

Then races go along, one after the other one, and stress cames up, so you need to think on what to do one day and what to do the next day. Specially in tracks like Valencia where you can "mostly" just walk around and races being 30 minutes long, you better walk fast or think very fast.

So, stop talking and let's share some pics.

Those are from Saturday:

Some stuff I took with the SD1. I wanted to play around with the "Foveon Classic Blue" setting. I got some stuff I really liked. I really like what it does to the colors, it makes the sky look more like it does to the eye, except it has a bad habit of turning reds to orange. Let me know what you think!

Awesome shots! Blue/Orange is a good color contrast anyway. I remember that about my SD14. Because of the way that foveon is stacked and getting lots of information for red, I was regularly blowing out my red channel. I really like those.

Happy snappin' 🙂
