Few shots so far from June here in Manila. First shot is using the Pentax K-70 w/55-300mm F4.5-6.3 PLM, the rest are all taken on the Lumix GH5 w/Olympus 45mm F1.8. Some of these were taken in some epic and very sudden rain

nice. The third shot would be my fave.  seems like the kind of thing you could sell for an advertisement or something.

I hiked 5 miles today, kind of speed walking.  I am at the blistering pace of the 15. Not carrying mt camera because I don't want to stop.  I did one more mile with the beast lens. Got this blue jay eating some kind of red bug. Quality came out really nice with DXO. Blue Jay with Insect by Mark Kasick, on Flickr Blue Jay by Mark Kasick, on Flickr

You're putting out some really lovely work, Cory. Great work. I think you could put a book or zine together soon.

I need to such it up and pay for Flickr pro, I ran out of room. In the meantime, here's my last picture I could post 😛

Happy snappin' 🙂

Another mega photo dump.  Work promotion, has me in a frontline supervisor role now working 6 day shifts between days off, that typically run 10-12hrs a day.  So I don't get too much photography in during the week, except for a couple of hours early mornings if I'm lucky.

DA* 300mm F4, acquired my copy from Pentax Forum user that had it converted to Screw Drive for a bargain, it's super sharp and actually pretty quick focusing.

Been really enjoying my Minolta A Mount glass mixed in with some M42 glass on FF, with the Sony A99

Vivitar 100mm F3.5, this lens is an absolute sleeper, which I'm going to write a review thread for soon.  It's actually a rebadged Cosina 10omm F3.5 with AF, it's very clunky and loose fitting tolerances in design, but it renders such sharp photos stopped down.  You need to screw on a diopter that makes it 1:1 Macro.  And has wonderful bokeh on the wide open end, which actually opens to F3.2 on my Sony A99 and Minolta 7D.

Soligor 105mm F2.8 M42 Mount, another cheap sleeper lens.  It has a 13 bladed aperture for awesome bokeh!

Finally picked up this copy of a Minolta 17-35, has full frame coverage! And it rendered very well, with some post distortion correction!

There is something about the sensor that really inspires me to hit that shutter button and I'm often surprised how something I took thinking it was a 'non-photo' turns out to be something I think it pretty good. The colors out of these sensors are something else.

These are SUPERB! You'll know which ones are my favorite because I "faved" them on Flickr lol. Those leaf photos are just awwwwesome!

A few from me.
