Great photos, everyone! I've been waiting for a Flickr discount code to get "pro" so I could upload more photos. haha Thankfully one arrived. The coupon was "FLICKRFOREVR2" for 20% off if anyone else is interested. Hopefully it is still active.

I got a whole 3 rolls scanned which I've been shooting since last september. I don't know how much "Febuary" these photos are, but they are photos.

A short-eared owl on a snowy afternoon in a grassland preserve outside of Chicago.  Although it's pretty far from being sharp, I think it really shows the habitat these guys prefer.

If anything it adds a bloomy atmospheric touch!  I just got done visiting the Olympic Peninsula, alot of my photos came out like this.  I couldn't keep the rain off my lenses fast enough.  Embrace it!

I have like 7 rolls to scan. It's been a minute, and I forgot why I brought out the can of air to scan to use when I scan. The amount of corrections on these is far too much and not perfect. Oh well.

Lovely shots again from everyone. I love the variety of photos we have here. 🙂

DA*60-250 which I recently picked up as a "do all" lens when outdoors with the family. People photos one minute, wildlife the next is its role.

DA*60-250 again, this time with 1.4x teleconverter. It is slow to focus (even w/o the TC) but plenty fast for big birds in flight.

I love this shot. Close up shots are always cool, but this environment shots feel really natural. A mix of landscape/wildlife. Great capture! I'm missing my owls.

Thanks.  I agree.  It's also something ignored by a lot of wildlife photographers.  I would have liked to capture the falling snow a little better but I think the issue is most of it is oof.

An older gentleman at the owl spot who was sitting in a chair with his camera pointed this situation out. I grabbed a shot too.

I call it "Near Miss" ... only about 240 million miles.
