Use this thread to share photos you've taken in the month of December.
Well it's starting off as a very, very busy month as I'm sure it is for you as well. But I did manage to sneak out one morning while it was really foggy. I've been testing out a TTArtisan 35mm f0.95 lens and the fog was PERFECT for it's large aperture that renders everything a little soft anyway.
I'll share some more when I finish editing them!
Here's some normal film haha.
Expired Walgreens "Studio 35", a 400 speed color negative film that's probably a rebrand of a fuji stock. Obviously expired by quite a bit.
Does look like "normal" film.
Got a new (to me) 35mm f2.4 for my K3 so I took some nature photos. Got my old 50mm f2 SMC-A out as well.

New bike day and a good excuse to use the TTArtisan 35mm f0.95 lens again on the Fujifilm XM1.
Finishing up a video on it this week hopefully. In short, great lens with good handling and cool styling. F0.95 is usable (most of my pictures are at that aperture) but definitely quite soft.

It's winter here in Chicago. Everything is gray and ugly. Except this cardinal. Click on it and again in Flickr, for close up. ISO 1600 in crappy gray overcast lighting. DXO Deep Prime makes it look great. Check out the feather detail. All I did was DXO, hit the auto adjustment in LR. Crop. Sharpening, saturation and vibrance on ZERO.

Great capture. You are making me want to go out and take some more wildlife photos! We've just been so busy over here the last two months getting ready for a move. We'll be closer to you, in Iowa! I'm getting ready to embrace the snow - coming from southern Texas 😀
