Pentax K-5 IIs $174 MPB has lost their minds
"Heavily used" looks more like "good" to me but maybe if you look through the viewfinder you see a video of Rick Roll, I dunno.

It's gone. I wonder who could have bought it? I guess we'll never, ever know. May it go to a good home, one with a K10D and a K-3 ready to welcome it and a warm, cozy camera bag to be tucked into at night. 💝
And may whoever bought it learn some self-control. 🤐
I just have discovered something silly i did not knew. I thought there was the MPB US and EU sites only.
So when clicking the US link it said if I wanted to stay or go to the UK link and thought that would be the same as EU. It is not! So there is an MPB UK that actually has a lot of nice Pentax things like a DA* 300mm or a 60-250mm f4 lenses! (they are not for sale on the EU site).
So.... whaaaaat? xDDD
Can you buy from those sites from other areas, or will they not ship outside those areas? 🤔
Well it arrived today. The listing said nothing of the LCD screen having a permanent black line down the center, but I think that must be why it got the "heavily used" rating. It doesn't bother me, though, as long as it doesn't get much worse. 🙂 What a wonderful camera the K-5 is! It fits my hand better than the K-3 also. I can't see the difference but I can feel that the grip is smaller (I have small hands) which feels better in hand to me. Win!

No, you can't. You just need to stick to the shop located in your geographical area. Unless you use a VPN or any software to change your location and then maybe you can. But wouldn't it be weird that someone from the UK buying in a UK site would request shipping to, for example, Portugal?
So not sure how would that end up, to be honest.

Wait wait wait so it's a K5-II S ?
That was the saint grial (i've been told, not sure if it was) of AF in the Pentax World before the K3 system was released.
If it's like a K5, yes handling is great.
Also does it has ISO down to 80? I love the Iso 80 on the K5 classic I have. And how it works the shadows. It's a brilliant camera, one of those that makes an impact in photography I believe.
It is the II s. 🙂 And it does have ISO 80. I haven't tested that out yet so it will be fun to see what kind of impact it has. I have read that the K-5 has better dynamic range than my K-3 so I'm looking forward to that. 🙂

He said you can find used gear on Amazon too, and wouldn't you know it?! Two used K5 cameras for $178! One in good condition and the other very good.

I saw that video. Before I got my K-3 I was deciding between it, the K-5 and the KP. It was tough. Ultimately I found a great deal on my K-3 so that's what I got. No regrets! But since then I've always wanted a K-5 for that sensor, and I had a suspicion the slightly smaller size might be even more comfortable for me (it is). So when I watched the Sensor Stacks video I guess it just became too hard to resist. The amount of adoration he has for the K-5 made my GAS flare up bad. 😄
