Nikon ES-2 Film Digitizing adapter Set

ES-2 Film Digitizing Adapter Set | Nikon (nikonusa.com)

Kind of neat little device if you are only doing 35mm and have the lenses and camera.

I think you can adapt it to almost any camera if you shoot raw and reverse elsewhere- probably some kind of plug in for LR out there.

I believe I read the 40mm f2.8 macro (which is supposed to be a good cheap lens) works for crop sensor.

Yes, I think that is very cool. There are a number of free 3D printable ones out there as well like this one that I've been wanting to print and try for a while: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3726615

Nice thing about the 3d models is I could adjust the filter size as needed. Haven't gotten around to it. But my other methods of scanning involve 3d printed holders.

As for converting the film negatives digitally there are now built-in free options in darkroom and rawtherapee that I use. I have some videos on my channel about them. Just a few years ago it was either do it all manually or pay $100 for some fancy plugins. Nice to see some easy and free options out there now.

Happy snappin' 🙂
