My Web Site

I don't post much on Social Media sites anymore, but I do have a web site where I'm slowly building galleries of my best work – along with all sorts of other (mostly) photography-related stuff. All of the modern digital images were shot with Pentax cameras.

In the recent video on the DA* 300 f/4, it was asked if anyone else was using Pentax cameras for wildlife or other action. I don't shoot wildlife often, but I shoot a LOT of sports, and there are four galleries of sports photos on my web site if you want to check them out. All of them taken in single shot mode (I detest the spray-and-pray technique), and with a mix of both autofocus and manual focus on the digital shots.

People like to say that Pentax cameras are terrible for sports & action... I beg to differ.

Very nice collection, thanks for sharing! I enjoyed seeing all the film shots. That is always the most impressive. By the way people talk about it, they make it seem that they think no action shots were even taken before the Sony A7III came out 😁 The film pictures are just an extra evidence that the photographer is the most important part of the equation.

Thanks for stopping by. 🙂

Happy snappin' 🙂

I love the farmhouse then and now photos!  I fly as a flight mechanic into Salina ocassionally with my employer Sun Country Airlines, to drop personnel off for Fort Riley.  It’d be neat to see how the 300mm F4 would render our livery.
