Hi! I need help adapting my Fujifilm XF 35mm f/1.4
I would like to adapt my Fujifilm XF 35mm f/1.4 to the Panasonic Lumix gh5 which has a micro four thirds mount. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hello @hugh! Welcome. @corymaben is correct. Because the Fuji lens flange distance is shorter than the receiving M43 body flange distance, you are limited in your adapting options. Sometimes third parties make adapters anyway and add essentially a teleconverter glass element in the adapter to still allow the lens to focus to infinity. This does change the effective focal length. Something like that may exist for Fuji X -> M43, but I haven't seen it. The second option is what Cory mentioned, and that's to adapt it anyway but use it for close focusing/macro only.
