Help Needed James: Pentax F 28mm f2.8

Hi everyone,

I have just the chance to buy a Pentax F series 28mm f2.8 in Spain at an okay price, or even let's say good/decent price and I was wondering if anyone of you shooting with it can/want to share some of your images.

After checking pentaxforums I just saw what I thought I remembered: That this is a great ranked lens, so it must be a good one. But i'd love to see samples also.

In the title I ask James as I know he has or have had one, and he has FF bodies and also APS-C (as I do). I think that those 28mm will convert in something around 42mm with the crop factor, but I was also thinking on what lens can I get to use as a holidays city explorer and I thought about the DA 35mm but I think this will be a bit too long for an aps-c sensor body. So now that this one popped up I thought about asking you guys.

Any comments will be much appreciated 🙂

Here's some examples I already have uploaded, and I will try to dig through later and grab more because I know I have more. It's a really nice lens. Sharp in the center wide open, a little soft on the corners until you stop down. I like the colors and character of it. Nice for landscapes on the K-1 and works as a nice walk-around length on APS-C. I shot it on my full spectrum converted Pentax K-01 almost exclusively before that camera died.
