What a find! Find of a lifetime. I've had one of those before and it felt really nice. Enjoy the K-1 and DFA100mm, both fantastic. I've never used it with a grip before. I imagine it would be quite big!

It was one of those sketchy internet listings (on OfferUp no less...) that seems too good to be true, but I crossed my fingers and clicked and, incredibly, it all turned out to be legit. Have been just amazed by the D FA 100mm - it's sharper than any lens I've used before. That and the Tamron 28-75mm f2.8 are probably my two go-to K-1 lenses. Was a little disappointed by the 77mm f1.8 Limited, especially after it won "best Pentax lens of all time" on Pentax Forums, and I'm glad I managed to sell it on. Terrible fringing, for one thing!
Honestly I used the grip for the first week or so and then took it off, probably for good - the K-1 ii is already a big camera and with the grip it's just absurdly huge. To me, the benefit of the extra vertical grip doesn't seem worth it (how hard is it to turn your wrist for portrait shots, after all?). I figure I can just bring a spare battery in my bag if I'm on a long trip!

This was a few weeks ago and I'm still riding the high! And lol, I wish - it was the 100-300mm F5.6-6.7, a plasticky film-era budget zoom. Sold it on for a mighty $30, haha.
